Now, through its groundbreaking partnership with Meva Energy, Elcowire is now set to become the world’s first copper wire manufacturer to achieve fossil-free production in scopes 1 and 2, reinforcing its position as a pioneer in the green transition.

The agreement builds on a successful feasibility study and specifies that Meva Energy will design, own, and operate an on-site energy plant capable of producing 9 MW of renewable biogas for Elcowire’s Helsingborg facility over a 15-year period.
